EOCC programming offered at our Wintersville facility is a cognitive-based class. Cognitive Behavior Interventions are the most effective tool in helping people make positive changes. Cognitive Behavior Interventions are based on the idea that changing a person’s thoughts can affect their actions. Therefore, the person’s thought processes are targeted to help them change their thinking. All classes/groups assigned to the resident are mandatory based on their risk needs and the resident will be required to complete the groups before they are released from EOCC.
