Alcohol & Drug Group Facilitator
PURPOSE
The AOD Group Facilitator is responsible for delivering drug/alcohol recovery-based group programming services to the resident population of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center. The specific program/curricular delivered will vary depending upon the AOD Group Facilitator’s placement within the continuum of programming services.
EDUCATION & ABILITIES
The AOD Group Facilitator must meet the following minimum educational and experience requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate field of study (Behavioral Science, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, etc.)
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing alcohol and drug-related group programming.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to the mission and core values of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in the course of their duties.
OR
- An Associate’s degree with any combination of work-related experience, training, or college credits demonstrated at a level of achievement to a bachelor’s degree.
- A valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
- Demonstrated proficiency in providing alcohol and drug-related group programming.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to the mission and core values of the Eastern Ohio Correction Center in the course of their duties.
