MEDICAL: 

A facility nurse is onsite to triage a medical concern and/or complaints, administer medication and schedule medical appointments if needed. The nurse cannot prescribe medication. Any resident needing medical attention will need to have insurance and are recommended to bring their insurance card with them. The resident is responsible for all medical costs incurred during their stay. If you do not have a physician and request to see one, the nurse will schedule an appointment. The resident is transported to Trinity Health System in Steubenville, Ohio for emergency treatment. 

Suppose you are required to take medication and are self-reporting. In that case, you must bring at least a 30-day supply of your medication at the time of admission or obtain a prescription from your doctor to get the medication filled by A&B Pharmacy. If you are in the county jail and transported by the sheriff’s dept., you must have your medication transported with you.
