Medical: 

A facility nurse is onsite to triage medical concerns/complaints, administer medication, and schedule medical appointments when needed. The nurse cannot prescribe medication. Residents needing medical attention must have insurance and bring their insurance card. You are responsible for all medical costs incurred during your stay. If you do not have a physician and request to see one, an appointment will be scheduled at the Lisbon Health Clinic. Residents are transported to the Salem Community Hospital in Salem, Ohio for emergency treatment. 

Suppose you are required to take medication and are a self-report. In that case, you must bring at least a 30-day supply of your medication at admission or you can obtain a prescription from your doctor to get the medication filled by Medical Express. If you are in the county jail and transported by the sheriff’s dept., you must have your medication transported with you.
